VIDEO ON OVARIAN CANCER LAUNCHED Actress Jenny Agutter today launches a new video guide to help women with ovarian cancer. The disease, the most deadly gynaecological cancer, is diagnosed in 6,000 women in the UK each year. Causing about 4,400 deaths each year, it is most common in women over 55. The video and accompanying information pack is designed to provide information and let women and family know where to turn for help and support. Ms Agutter, patron of the patient charity Ovacome, introduces and narrates the video on which women tell of their experiences. Dr Richard Osborne, consultant in medical oncology at Poole Hospital, Dorset, talks about treatment options. WESTERN MORNING NEWS 29/06/98 P22
